raised in Foligno, in Umbria region, 39 year ago Sandro Baldini studied at the
International Alma School where Master Chef Gualtiero Marchesi, considered the
founder of modern Italian cuisine, was the rector. He started his culinary
carrier at two-Michelin-starred restaurant Flipot, close to Turin, as Demi Chef
de Partie. After this experience he moved to Chamonix Mont-Blanc to work with
Chef Pierre Carrier at two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Hameau Albert 1er.
After the winter season he decided to be back to Italy and to start a new experience as Sous Chef at one-Michelin-starred Ristorante Castello Banfi in Montalcino with Chef Guido Haverkock.
They had an exquisite collaboration for more than 8 years ended earning one Michelin Star at Restaurant I Portici in Bologna.
After other experiences abroad, in New York and in London, he was back to Tuscany again to begin a new collaboration as Chef at Castello la Leccia in Castellina and then became Executive Chef at Relais Le Jardin Restaurant at Hotel Regency in Florence.
